Troubleshoot unavailable iCloud backup
If WorkTimes Settings → Backup shows iCloud not available or Background Tasks are off, check iCloud Drive and Background App Refresh on the iPhone.
Enable iCloud Drive for WorkTimes
- Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name.
- Choose iCloud → Drive.
- Turn on Sync this iPhone.
- Under the apps using iCloud, choose Show All if needed and enable WorkTimes.
- Close and reopen WorkTimes.
If no Apple Account is signed in on the device, sign in before trying again.
Enable background tasks
- In iPhone Settings, open General → Background App Refresh.
- Set Background App Refresh to Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & Mobile Data.
- Enable WorkTimes in the app list.
Verify the backup
- Return to WorkTimes Settings → Backup.
- Confirm that the warning has disappeared and Backup to iCloud is active.
- Tap Back Up to iCloud Now.
- Check the date of the last successful backup.
If iCloud remains unavailable, create a manual backup and save it outside the device while you troubleshoot the iCloud settings.
